Glasgow East End Community Carers is a charitable organisation serving unpaid carers in Glasgow's East End. Founded in 1991 by local individuals with caregiving experience, they recognised early on the need for practical and emotional support for carers aiming to continue in their caring roles. Having moved their offices and carers hub to new premises in 2023, GEECC asked for a feasibility study of potential designs for future development, to included community garden with raised beds. After a facilitated user consultation, Phase 1 schemes were drawn up for funding applications.
