Our Garden — Our Story

Gentle observations of daily life across the seasons, distilling evocative moments and memories, showing how light, planting, and human presence combine to create a personal, timeless space.

Winter 2025

The winter morning sun sits low in the sky, its light slipping through skeletal trees in clean, deliberate shafts, clear and unembellished. The vegetable patch has slipped into wildness — teasels standing tall, frost-muted greens and browns underfoot. Grandad moves slowly through. Somewhere close by an open fire crackles; smoke lazily threads across the garden, blurring the edges of the wood and earth. Sausages hiss and turn, their rich aroma drifting in the cold air. The whole moment feels suspended — stillness and warmth and conversation, carrying the weight of quiet mornings and simple pleasures.
