1 ACRE CROFT

Sitting on the south-west coast alongside the Hynish Centre on the Isle of Tiree, sits the 1 Acre croft, the smallest on the island. With a small sheltered corner currently used to grow veg, the clients are looking for a design strategy to maximise food production across the whole site. Using forest garden techniques we are researching designs that work alongside challenging site conditions to create a sustainable and productive croft.
